While taking a walk at night, I got stumbled by a stray cat, and the cat scratched me as I walked further.
Do you trust your intuition?
What about cats’ intuition?
This is a very strange question with no logical evidence, but if you say there is no such thing as intuition, some people will believe it.
This is a real thing that happened in the community. Maybe it was a coincidence, or maybe the cat sensed something. Anyway, at that moment, it happened miraculously!
The incident specifically happened at night. After dark that day, my friend went for a walk in the community as usual, took a look at the stray cats that he usually fed, and brought some food to it. Because of this tacit understanding, every time my friend goes for a walk, the cat will follow him obediently. Generally, he will not get too close, but he will not go far either.
Sometimes after giving food, the cat will follow him for a long distance.
This night was no different from any other night. The cat ate something and then continued to move forward with the person.
However, the cat was a little unusual that day, because when passing by an intersection, the cat suddenly walked up to the friend. Although the cat recognized the friend, it had never been so close before, and it always seemed to be at a certain distance from people. Maybe it’s because of the vigilance of stray cats. My friend also thinks that this is good for cats.
But that night, the little stray cat actually kept clinging to its friend. When the friend wanted to move forward, the cat refused, and even scratched its paw when it got anxious!

My friend didn’t think there was any problem. Maybe it was because the route she took that day was different from usual. On this day, she chose a road that she rarely walked. There were fewer people on that road, so it was cleaner.
But when the friend continued to walk forward, the cat did not stop scratching, and even kept tripping people in desperation, just like a big stone blocking the road! My friend laughed and laughed, thinking that the kitten was scared. After all, as a stray animal, it may be bullied by other animals in areas that are not its own territory.
My friend originally wanted to go by himself, but the cat was afraid that the cat would not move forward. However, he thought that the cat was too stubborn and wanted to stop him. In desperation, my friend had no choice but to interrupt the original plan and stop moving forward!
At this time, the cat seemed to know that he had succeeded, and finally stopped pestering people.
I originally thought this was just a minor incident and didn't take it seriously. But the next day, I unexpectedly learned that a police car came to the community!
At this time, my friend thought about the cat’s abnormality yesterday, and everything seemed to have a different meaning! The cat resisted her and continued to move forward. Was it because the cat sensed something? Or is it that the cat is trying to protect her, so she doesn’t want good people to take risks even at the risk of being misunderstood?
In fact, compared to humans, cats have a keener sense of smell and clearer vision in the dark, so if cats really find something, then I believe it.
But many people may find it incredible, thinking that it is just a stray cat, how can it still protect people? Are stray cats that humane?

In fact, this is another story about the problem of stray cats in the city. In fact, most stray cats originally had homes. Perhaps because their owners moved or because they were abandoned, they suddenly lost their homes.
Just because a cat is a stray does not mean that the cat has no emotions. Cats especially have very strong feelings for the kind people who feed them food.
Someone had fed a kitten several times, and when he came back after working overtime until around 2 a.m. one day, he found that the cat had been waiting for him in the same place! When he saw himself, he came over from a distance!
This feeling of waiting makes people feel sad, but for people who return home late at night, there is a small animal waiting for them to go back. What a heart-warming thing!
Maybe my friend’s experience is just a coincidence, maybe everything is not that mysterious, maybe the cat just acted like a spoiled child on a temporary basis, maybe everything is our self-righteousness, maybe the cat is really not that smart.
But no matter what, that night, that cat, and their common existence allowed the friends to spend a safe night and allowed everything to continue.
I think, just for this reason, I should say thank you to that cat!
