The Sun: Fulham demand 10 million compensation if Forest poach Marco Silva

The British media "The Sun" reported that if Nottingham Forest wants Marco Silva to become their new coach, Fulham will demand 10 million pounds in compensation because they are unwilling to lose Marco Silva in the middle of the season.

It is understood that Nottingham Forest has listed Marco Silva, Mancini and Dyche as three candidates, and they hope to find a replacement for Postkoglu who was just fired.

Marco Silva is deeply admired by Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis, who worked with him at Olympiacos in 2016, when the team won the Greek League Championship.

Marco Silva has built Fulham into a solid mid-table team in the Premier League. He is now in his fifth season coaching the team. Forest need to pay about 10 million pounds in compensation, even so, Marco Silva is unwilling to leave in the middle of the season.

Dai Qi, who is currently unemployed at home, is also interested in this job. Dyche has been a Forest fan since he was a child and has said in the past that it was his dream to coach the team. However, he was unwilling to accept a short-term contract, and Forest were only willing to offer a short-term contract.

Mancini, who once led the Italian team to win the European Cup, has also received attention, but will demand a high salary. Mancini stepped down as head coach of the Saudi national team last year and has not been a coach since.

The forest paid compensation to Nuno and Postkoglu in just 40 days, so it became cautious. Postkoglu played eight games during his short tenure, drawing two and losing six, including a 2-3 loss to Swansea in the Carabao Cup.
