Joining the 6th level team, Andy Carroll: My kids thought I signed with Chelsea

According to official news, England's sixth-level team Durgenham signed 36-year-old veteran Andy Carroll who has played for Newcastle, Liverpool and other teams.

Andy Carroll joked: "I'm very excited to start my journey at Durgenham. My kids thought I signed with Chelsea. They would be disappointed. The location is amazing and (the stadium) is close to my kids so they can come to see me."

Speaking of his experience in Bordeaux, Andy Carroll admitted that he loved playing football in France, but he thought it's time to return to his hometown and reunite with his family.

"I really enjoyed that time in Bordeaux, but now it's time for me to get closer to my family. I hope my kids can bring their friends to me, too."
