Sprinkle 15% acetic acid solution (or 15% tartaric acid solution) on the stain, or soak the rust-stained part in the solution for about a day, and then rinse it with clean water. You can also soak the rust spots with 10% citric acid solution, then soak them in concentrated salt water, rub them the next day, and rinse them clean.
If the white cotton fabric is stained with rust, use a small spoon to scoop a small handful of oxalic acid and place it in the stain, then sprinkle some warm water, rub it gently, and then rinse it with clean water. 3. First soak with boiling water, then wash with sour milk, and finally wash and dry, you will find that the rust stains on the clothes are gone.
4. It is also possible to use disinfectant, but it is limited to white clothes. Other colors may damage the color. Drop the disinfectant onto the rust and rub it with your hands to wash off the rust and then rinse it. The above methods can solve the rust on clothes.
5. Soak the clothes in water containing 2% acetic acid. After two or three minutes, rinse with water. If there are very few stains, you can dip a cotton swab in water containing 5% acetic acid and apply it over and over to the stains. The rust on the clothes will disappear.
