Post: Forest has reported to the Premier League to Tottenham, if found guilty or suffered a huge fine and transfer ban
According to the Daily Mail, Nottingham Forest has reported to the Premier League that Tottenham has illegally contacted Gibbs White and threatened to sue Tottenham.
Forest officials claimed Tottenham had brought in players in violation of regulations. It is reported that Tottenham has triggered White's termination clause, but Forest is angry at their approach.
Forest has told Tottenham not to have any contact with Gibbs White and has written to Tottenham and the Premier League.
Premier League officials may now decide whether to launch an investigation. If they launch an investigation and Tottenham are found guilty, they could face huge fines and even transfer bans.
Although Forest declined to comment, they were believed to have tried to resolve the matter friendly but failed. Therefore, they sent a fiercely worded letter to Tottenham and the Premier League. They also raised the possibility of legal action.
Previously, according to Sky Sports, Forest believes that Gibbs White's termination clause has confidentiality regulations, and Tottenham's bid is close to the price of the termination fee. Forest has consulted a lawyer about possible legal means and has stopped all communication with Tottenham.
