Manchester United: Manchester United is interested in Tony and Anderson and hopes Casemiro will reduce his salary, but the players are unwilling

"Manchester Evening News" reported that Manchester United is interested in Ivan Toney and Elliott Anderson, and also hopes that Casemiro will reduce his salary.

The Red Devils are reportedly stepping up their pursuit of Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson, and although Forest have struggled this season after a stellar performance last season, the England international has been one of the team's best performers.

Other reports indicate that Casemiro's future is still uncertain and he is about to enter the final months of his contract. United are said to want to reduce his wages, but Casemiro is reportedly unwilling to accept a cut.

As for Ivan Toney, it is reported that the England striker is open to returning to the Premier League in January, and there are also rumors that he may move to Manchester United. The 29-year-old striker has been playing in Saudi Arabia for the past 15 months after leaving Brentford to join Jeddah National in August 2024.

Since moving to the Middle East, Tony has scored 41 goals and contributed 8 assists in 59 games. As January approaches, discussions about his possible return to English football are increasing. Toni is believed to be considering a return to the Premier League, with the report adding that a number of top-flight clubs have made inquiries, with Everton and Tottenham also interested.

Although Manchester United's name was not specifically mentioned in the report, the Red Devils were interested in bringing in Tony before he left for Saudi Arabia.
