What are the procedures required to transport a dog? If you are not sure, come and take a look!
Nowadays, many people like to take their dogs with them when traveling or returning to their hometowns. However, pets are not allowed on the subway or on airplanes. They can only be checked in. So what are the procedures required to check in dogs? If you are not sure, come and take a look!

Procedures required for dog consignment
1. Go to a nearby veterinary station at least one week in advance to get rabies vaccine and cat triplex, and obtain an epidemic prevention certificate (if you have an epidemic prevention certificate, you don’t need this step). Generally, the price is around 100 yuan. Of course, there may be some differences in prices in different places.
2. One or two days in advance, take your pet and epidemic prevention certificate to a nearby veterinary station (recognized by the railway department) for a physical examination, obtain a health certificate, and then change it to a [Pet Exit Quarantine Certificate].
3. Contact the transportation department (train station or airport) one day in advance to inform you that pets need to be checked in, and to inquire about other related issues. In addition, if it is a train, bring your pet 2-3 hours in advance on the day, put it in a special aviation box or cage (the cage should be a steel structure, and there should be a tray for holding feces under the chassis, and use sacks or cotton mats to tie it under the chassis, so that their urine and feces will not leak and contaminate other goods), go to the cargo shipping station of the train station to go through the check-in procedures, and then you can check it in.

Things to note when transporting pet dogs
1. The pet exit quarantine certificate is only valid for a maximum of 7 days, and when the pet arrives at the destination station, the certificate should still be valid.
2. The shorter the time for transporting your pet dog, the better. Dogs are spiritual animals, and long-term confinement will cause certain psychological trauma to dogs. Normally, adult dogs can tolerate a check-in time of up to 24 hours, but most of them will become seriously ill upon arrival. Underage dogs are more sensitive and fragile. It is generally best not to exceed 10 hours for shipping. It is enough to simply prepare some water and dog food for these 10 hours. After arriving at the station, quickly let it out for air circulation and give it some care and attention. Check the physical condition of the pet dog. If there is slight vomiting, feed Smecta twice without food. If the condition is too bad, it must be sent to the animal hospital for examination and antibiotics.
3. Drinking water problem. In the summer, you should prepare drinking water for your dog because the animal needs a lot of water in the summer.
4. Warmth preservation problem. The weather in winter is cold and the outside temperature is very low. The dog will wait outside for a period of time before entering the cabin. The dog is kept alone in a small cage and is very scared, and its own immunity will decrease. If you do not pay attention to the measures to keep warm, it is easy for the dog to suffer from colds and other diseases, so you should do a good job of keeping warm. First of all, there should be bedding in the cage, and you can also use some baby warmers to stick to the bottom of the flight box.
Of course, if you don’t want to wrong your dog, you can also find a professional pet consignment!
