How to improve the cleaning effect of clothes when using dry cleaning machines in dry cleaning shops
Dry cleaning shops can use the following aspects to improve the cleaning effect of clothes.
1. Solvent (referring to the dry cleaning solvent of the dry cleaning machine)
Humidity of the dry cleaning machine solvent: The appropriate humidity (water content) in the dry cleaning machine system is very important for anti-static, anti-shrinkage, and thorough removal of water-soluble dirt. The moisture content, that is, the relative humidity should not exceed 75%. The humidity in the dry cleaning machine should be lower.
The measurement criteria for humidity are: when the liner of the washed clothes shrinks or wrinkles, it means that there is too much moisture; if the washed clothes are severely static and water-soluble dirt is not removed, it means that there is too little moisture.
Dry cleaning machine solvent temperature: If the dry cleaning oil temperature is too high, the clothes will fade, and the temperature is too low, and the cleaning rate will be reduced. The solvent temperature is most suitable for 20 to 32 degrees Celsius.
2. Purification and recovery of dry cleaning solvents
Distillation: The most effective way to separate soluble dirt from dry cleaning oil is distillation. 10 gallons of dry cleaning oil should be distilled for every 100 pounds of laundry.
Filtration: Once the dirt is washed from the clothes, it should be removed immediately, otherwise it will settle on the clothes. Therefore, the dirt must be filtered out in time with a filter. For filter element filters (clip filters), when the dry cleaning oil flow decreases and the filter pressure rises, the filter element should be replaced in time; for filter powder filters (centrifugal filters), the filter attachment layer should be rebuilt in time.
3. Correct use of dry cleaning machines
Loading volume: Severe overload of the loading volume will cause dirt to be re-precipitated and water-soluble dirt is difficult to remove. The dry cleaning machine should not be overloaded, and it is best to weigh the dry cleaning weight every time you load your clothes.
Washing time: During the cleaning process, the insoluble and water-soluble dirt should be washed, and the solvent in the drum should be circulated and filtered at least 10 times. If the roller solvent (i.e., the dry cleaning solvent) is one cycle per minute, the recommended cleaning time is 10 minutes. If the solvent circulation speed is low, the cleaning time should be relatively extended.
Drying temperature: Excessive drying temperature can damage the fabric and cause other problems, such as: stains and burnt. The drying temperature should not exceed 60℃. The drying temperature of delicate fabrics should be lower, such as silk, fine cashmere, and resin fiber.
Drying time: The drying time is very important for drying effect and solvent recovery. The length of drying time depends on the drying temperature. At normal drying temperature, the drying time is 20 minutes.
4. Inspection after dry cleaning
Stain removal: Customers are definitely not satisfied with the failure to remove the stain after dry cleaning. Before ironing, check whether the stain has been removed and whether there is any stain. If there is any, it should be dealt with in time. The use of stain remover must be carried out according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Ciliary removal: Removing cilia, surface slag and stain removal is equally important to customers. Check it before washing and ironing it. After thorough removal, it can be sent to iron.
